Shropshire Life
Billed as the ultimate guide to people who are living in, moving to or visiting Shropshire, the website has information about the local area, what's on guide, things to do, food & drink, accommodation and a business directory.
Because different people visit the website for different reasons (living in, moving to and visiting Shropshire) the website has been cleverly broken down so that the pages needed by these different groups can be quickly and easily accessed, so that they can get to the information they need with ease and style not normally associated with an online 'Directory'.
The website needed some really good, high quality images of Shropshire that ideally, were not used anywhere else in a commercial venture. We employed some of our social media skills to enable us to actively receive these images from willing participants over at Flickr and we are really happy with the vast amount of amazing images displayed on the website.
We also developed a banner management system so that advertisers on the website can keep track of their banner views and clicks
Once a month they also give away a prize (usually an iPod) to members signed up to their monthly e-newsletter, which contains brief information on what's going on in Shropshire as well as having advertisers banners on the email creating a direct marketing solution for Shropshire Life's clients.
